The switching frequency of this product allows fast measurement and is evaluated at 250Hz. The maximum detection range is 100mm, with the zws-7 being able to achieve a switching frequency that is impressive, and allowing the detection of objects with high counting frequency and narrow gaps between two objects.

The small ultrasonic sensor is delivered in a cuboidal housing, while the compatibility with many optical sensors is another major advantage. The frequency also allows fast sampling, while the item can benefit from the SoundPipe waveguide attachment as an optional feature. Other basic advantages are the one switching output in the npn or pnp variant, as well as the measurement range from 20 to 100mm and the resolution of 0.08mm. Finally, the operating voltage is between 20 and 30V.
